Was lucky enough to go to SXSW 2014. I came back underwhelmed with all the chat about wearables (still) but what I did find exciting was the moves into interactive TV and other large screens. I had chance to listen to talks by game developers, designers at Netflix, and out door display specialists as well trying out a chromecast and ignoring anyone wearing Google Glass.
On getting back I put together a talk to the company in an attempt to inspire and show how we can enhance and move on from the small screen… and start thinking more about connected screen experience, and large screen design… Responsive Web Design XL if you will
