The practise what I preach I build a relationship with our Design System platform provider and eventually my team was asked, tested and certified as one of only 5 global agency service Partners for Invision. This programme has now been decommissioned but we are looking to achieve the same within Figma.
To get this accreditation you had to pass theory tests, and be able to demonstrated a best practise design system – we showcased our O2 one. And passed. Annoyingly due to funding this all feel apart.
However it did also allow us to be noticed and acknowledged by Invision and I was invited to be a speaker at one of their live panel events about Design systems called Design Systems For People Communication, Collaboration & Culture
